About This Role

Are you passionate about using technology to create social impact? We’re seeking a Technology Consultant to lead digital transformation initiatives for our NGO partners, helping them leverage technology to scale their operations and maximize their impact.

What You’ll Do

Digital Transformation Strategy

• Assess technology needs and digital maturity of NGO partners
• Develop comprehensive digital transformation roadmaps
• Design technology solutions tailored to non-profit constraints and objectives
• Create business cases for technology investments in the social sector

Technology Implementation

• Lead implementation of CRM systems, project management tools, and donor databases
• Configure cloud-based solutions for NGO operations
• Develop custom applications and dashboards for program monitoring
• Integrate multiple systems to create seamless workflows

Training & Capacity Building

• Design and deliver technology training programs for NGO staff
• Create user manuals, video tutorials, and learning resources
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting
• Build internal technical capacity within partner organizations

Innovation & Research

• Research emerging technologies applicable to the social sector
• Pilot innovative solutions like AI, blockchain, or IoT for development
• Develop proof-of-concepts for new digital tools
• Stay current with trends in technology for social good

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience: 4-7 years in technology consulting, implementation, or software development
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), databases, and system integration
• Consulting Experience: Track record of successfully managing technology projects for multiple clients

Essential Technical Skills

• Programming: Python, JavaScript, SQL, and experience with APIs
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• CRM/ERP Systems: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
• Data Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
• Project Management: Agile methodologies and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Technology Management or related field
• Experience working with non-profit organizations or social enterprises
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified, Azure Fundamentals)
• Knowledge of grant management systems and donor reporting tools
• Experience with mobile app development for social impact
